The Akela 45 from Tatonka is designed as a scout backpack for teenagers and is also ideal for the short trekking tour or as a travel backpack. Its pleasantly flexible V Comfort Vario Carrying System ensures efficient load transfer to the hip area for back-friendly carrying. To position the hip belt correctly, it can be adjusted to different back lengths. The system thereby offers quite a wide range of variation in adjusting the back length.
Robust backpack with practical features for camping and smaller tours
The Tatonka Akela with a volume of 45 liters offers a pack sack divided into main and bottom compartments. The bottom compartment is traditionally used to store the sleeping bag or dirty clothes.
The backpack also has a lid compartment and two large, zippered side pockets, behind which an additional open slide-in channel can be used to store tent poles, for example. A sleeping pad can be attached to the compression straps on the bottom. For the attachment of other equipment, the gear loops on the lid, front and side pockets can be used.
The Akela 45 has a PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish.
